OFFICIAL RULES: THE 9-DAY AFRICAN SAFARI DRAWING

Sponsored by United Carolinas Cavalry, Inc.

A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE: You have not yet won. NO PURCHASE, CONTRIBUTION, DONATION, OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase, contribution, donation, or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning, except that eligible entrants who voluntarily donate may receive additional entries as disclosed in the official entry materials.

The 9-day African Safari Drawing commences on July 31, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Eastern Time, and ends on November 14, 2026, at 12:55 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Promotion Period”). One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded consisting of a 9-Day African Safari package for four (4), valued at $12,800.00. Winner does not have to be present to win. Odds of winning are equal to one (1) divided by the total number of valid entry tickets received.

1. Eligibility

This drawing is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Only valid in states where allowed by law. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island are not eligible to participate unless the Sponsor has complied with any registration and bonding requirements applicable to charitable promotional drawings in those states. No entries will be accepted from inmates of a correctional facility. Employees of United Carolinas Cavalry (UCC), members of the UCC Board of Directors, or paid consultants to UCC are ineligible to participate.

Participation constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters. Winning the prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

2. Sponsor/Administrator

The sole and exclusive Sponsor and Administrator of this drawing is United Carolinas Cavalry, Inc., 301 S Oakland Ave, Suite 5215, Statesville, NC 28677 (“Sponsor”).

3. Timing

The Drawing begins on July 31, 2026, at 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) and ends on November 14, 2026, at 12:55 p.m. ET. Sponsor’s database is the official timekeeper for this drawing.

4. How to Enter

Participants may enter the drawing through the following methods during the Promotion Period:

  • Online Entry with a Donation: Visit the official landing page at:
    https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/ucc-african-safari-drawing
    and complete the digital entry form along with a voluntary donation. Upon confirmation, an electronic certificate showing ticket number(s) will be sent to the entrant’s provided email address.
  • Mail-In Entry with a Donation: Mail an official print entry form along with a voluntary donation check payable to United Carolinas Cavalry to: United Carolinas Cavalry, Attn: Safari Drawing, 301 S Oakland Ave, Suite 5215, Statesville, NC 28677. Mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than November 7, 2026.
  • Free Entry Method (Alternative Method of Entry – AMOE): If you do not want to help others in need with a donation and to receive a single drawing entry ticket without making a donation, handprint your full name, complete mailing address, phone number, date of birth, and email address on a self-addressed stamped envelope and mail it in a handwritten outer envelope to: United Carolinas Cavalry, Attn: Free Safari Entry, 301 S Oakland Ave, Suite 5215, Statesville, NC 28677.
    • Limit one (1) entry request per outer envelope per household.
    • Requests must be entirely handwritten; mechanically reproduced, typed, or printed requests will be disqualified.
    • Free entry requests must be postmarked by October 1, 2026, and received no later than October 7, 2026 to be validly registered for and have a ticket returned to the entrant before the drawing. Requests received after the deadline will not be eligible.

5. Additional Conditions

Entries may not be canceled or modified after submission.

6. Winner Selection Drawing

The random drawing will take place live during the 2nd Annual Homecoming at the Hangar at 321 Hangar Dr, Statesville, NC 28677 on November 14, 2026, at ~1:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all valid, eligible entries to select one (1) Conditional Grand Prize Winner and two (2) Alternate Conditional Winners. The drawing will be conducted by a representative of United Carolinas Cavalry using a random selection process. Winners do not have to be present to win.

7. Winner Notification

The Conditional Grand Prize Winner will be notified via email and/or telephone using the contact information provided at the time of entry within three (3) business days of the drawing. If the selected entrant cannot be reached, fails to respond within five (5) business days of the initial notification attempt, or if the notification is returned as undeliverable, that entrant will forfeit the prize and the Sponsor will proceed to contact the first Alternate Conditional Winner.

8. Verification of Conditional Winner

The selected winner is subject to verification of eligibility by the Sponsor. The Conditional Grand Prize Winner will be required to execute and return a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability/Publicity Release (where permitted by law), and a completed IRS W-9 form within seven (7) days of the date of notification. Failure to provide requested documentation will result in prize forfeiture, and an alternate winner will be selected.

9. Grand Prize Details

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded consisting of an African Safari Package for 4 (Retail Value: $12,800.00), provided in partnership with Safari Anyone LLC. No cash prizes or substitutions will be allowed. Safari Anyone LLC and Omulu Safaris are not sponsors, administrators, or operators of this drawing.

  • Package Details: 9 Days / 8 Nights accommodation, including 7 full days, chef-prepared daily meals, local drinks, daily laundry/camp upkeep, and local ground transportation once at the lodge.
  • Exclusions: Package does not include commercial airfare to Johannesburg (JNB) International Airport, South Africa: round-trip JNB airport-to-camp shuttle service ($350 per person fee); specialized liquor; or passport fees, visa fees, travel insurance, immunizations, or any other travel-related expenses not expressly included in the prize description.
  • Booking Conditions: Valid for available dates in 2027 or 2028. The safari must be completed before November 30, 2028. Bookings for 2028 must be secured before December 30, 2027, with proof of ticketed airfare submitted at least 90 days prior to arrival to complete in country paperwork or safari can be cancelled. Travel is subject to the winner and accompanying guests obtaining and maintaining valid passports and any other required travel documents, visas, vaccinations, or governmental approvals, if applicable. The winner and guests are solely responsible for obtaining such documents and satisfying all entry and exit requirements.

10. No Cash Option

No cash substitutions, transfers, or assignments of the prize are permitted. The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance.

11. Release and Limitations of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless United Carolinas Cavalry, Inc., Safari Anyone LLC, Omulu Safaris, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X, which have no sponsorship, endorsement, administration or involvement in this drawing) from any and all liability, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in this drawing or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the awarded safari prize.

12. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes the winner’s express consent to the Sponsor’s worldwide use of their name, likeness, photograph, and hometown for promotional, editorial, or marketing purposes in any media format without further compensation.

13. Arbitration & Governing Law

This drawing is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any and all legal disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of or connected with this drawing shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively via binding arbitration under the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The place of arbitration shall be Iredell County, North Carolina.

14. Drawing Results

To request the official name of the Grand Prize Winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: United Carolinas Cavalry, Attn: Safari Winner List, 301 S Oakland Ave, Suite 5215, Statesville, NC 28677. Requests must be received within 30 days after the close of the drawing.

15. Prize Representations

Sponsor and/or its agents make no representations as to the condition, warranties, or fitness for a particular use of the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize Winner agrees to accept the Grand Prize “AS IS”, “WHERE IS.”

16. Not Endorsed by

The promotion is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or associated with Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, X, Quora, LinkedIn or any other social media platform.
